Important Release notes
- From 1.7.1 : the first Catalog view display can take a while (several minutes in some cases) for upgrading cover catalog. This is done only once and then, you'll benefit from major performance enhancements in comparison with previous releases.
- Jajuk 1.7 requires Java 1.6 to run
- After a first collection refresh, the CPU consumption can stay high for several minutes, it is due to thumbnails creation (only once)
- A deep refresh (from Devices view / right click / Force Refresh / Deep) of all your devices is encouraged to take into account a bug that made jajuk to display wrong file date in Files table view.
- [Windows + Web Start mode] The first startup will take a while (in the "Initial checkups" step), as the required mplayer executable is downloaded
- [Linux and MacOS] If mplayer is not available, you can get sound skips because of some memory optimizations that affect Linux and Mac that don't use mplayer. It can be fixed easily, check: Sound skips
